The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of what ember does best.
As a Travel Designer, you will be the person our most discerning clients trust with the moments that matter most: milestone celebrations, family reunions across continents, honeymoons that exceed every expectation, solo journeys designed for transformation.
You will own each journey entirely. From the moment an inquiry arrives to the moment a client returns home, every detail: the design, the communication, the logistics, the on-ground execution, sits with you. You are the single thread running through the entire experience, ensuring nothing is lost, nothing is left to chance, and nothing falls short of extraordinary.
This demands someone who is equally at home crafting a beautifully written journey narrative as they are managing a last-minute flight change at midnight. Creativity and precision are not in tension here; they are both expected, in equal measure, all of the time.
The ideal candidate brings an instinct for beauty, a command of logistics, and the emotional intelligence to anticipate what a client needs before they know they need it.
What You'll Do
Journey Design & Curation
Design tailor-made, multi-destination luxury itineraries for UHNW and VIP clients: creative, culturally rich and deeply personalised. Translate client desires, interests and travel history into coherent journey narratives that feel considered from start to finish. Produce polished, brand-aligned itinerary documents and journey books that reflect ember's cinematic aesthetic and service philosophy.
Client Relationship & Servicing
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for your clients. Maintain detailed, confidential preference profiles and deliver proactive, anticipatory support before, during and after every journey. Build long-term client relationships rooted in discretion, warmth and exceptional judgment.
Operational Excellence
Manage all travel components: from flights, accommodations, transfers, dining, to private access and curated experiences, with exceptional accuracy and service excellence. Coordinate seamlessly with global luxury hotels, DMCs, concierge partners, chauffeurs, guides and private experience providers. Monitor trips in real time, ensuring continuous communication, swift issue resolution and smooth transitions across every touchpoint.
Product & Commercial Contribution
Stay informed on luxury travel trends, new openings, exclusive access opportunities and regional developments to continuously enhance ember's product offering. Support commercial objectives through value-enhancing recommendations and thoughtful itinerary construction. Maintain accurate CRM records, financial structures and internal workflows for full operational transparency.
Who You Are
You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury travel design, UHNW concierge services or bespoke itinerary planning. You have deep destination expertise across at least two of the following regions: Europe, GCC, Asia, Africa or the Indian Ocean. You have established relationships with luxury hotels, DMCs and premium experience providers, and ideally, you arrive with an existing roster of clients ready to travel. This is not essential, but it is a strong signal that you've built the kind of trust and reputation that ember is looking for.
You are exceptionally organised and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple complex journeys simultaneously without losing precision or warmth. You write beautifully, present immaculately and carry yourself with the polish and discretion that working with high-profile individuals demands.
You are as motivated by the craft of the journey as you are by the satisfaction of delivering it flawlessly. You understand that in this world, the difference between good and extraordinary often comes down to a single detail — and you are the person who notices it.
Bilingual Arabic–English proficiency is strongly preferred. Flexibility to travel for famil trips, site inspections, client hosting and partner engagements is required.

Essential:
- Minimum 5 years in luxury travel design, UHNW concierge or bespoke itinerary planning
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stop itineraries with creative insight and operational precision
- Strong global destination expertise across multiple regions
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, itinerary builders and digital workflow tools
- High level of discretion, cultural sensitivity and professional presentation
Preferred:
- Established relationships with luxury hotels, DMCs and lifestyle partners
- An established roster of clients you can bring to the table
