Travel Designer - Luxury and UHNW Journeys

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Travel Designer to curate bespoke luxury journeys for VIP and UHNW clients across global destinations. This role sits at the heart of our design philosophy, bringing together creativity, precision, and world-class service to deliver seamless, highly personalised travel experiences.

The Travel Designer will oversee the full lifecycle of each journey, including itinerary creation, design presentation, reservations, partner coordination, on-ground alignment, and high-touch client servicing. The ideal candidate brings extensive luxury travel experience, impeccable judgment, and the ability to anticipate the needs of a discerning clientele while upholding ember’s elevated service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design tailor-made, multi-destination luxury itineraries, ensuring creative, culturally rich, and highly personalised experiences for UHNW and VIP travellers.
• Manage all travel components including flights, accommodations, transfers, dining, private access, and curated experiences with exceptional accuracy and service excellence.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining confidential preference profiles and delivering proactive, detail-driven support before, during, and after travel.
• Coordinate seamlessly with global luxury hotels, DMCs, concierge partners, chauffeurs, guides, and private experience providers to ensure flawless operational execution.
• Produce polished, brand-aligned itinerary documents, journey books, and travel briefs that reflect ember’s aesthetic and service philosophy.
• Monitor trips in real time, ensuring continuous communication, issue resolution, and smooth transitions across all touchpoints.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, financial structures, supplier confirmations, and internal workflows for full operational transparency.
• Stay informed on luxury travel trends, new openings, exclusive access opportunities, and regional developments to enhance ember’s product offerings.
• Support commercial objectives through value-enhancing recommendations, strategic upsells, and profitable itinerary construction.
• Uphold the highest levels of discretion, cultural sensitivity, ethical conduct, and professional presentation in all client and partner interactions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury travel design, UHNW concierge services, bespoke itinerary planning, or high-touch hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stop itineraries with exceptional accuracy and creative insight.
• Strong global destination expertise across Europe, GCC, Asia, Africa, and/or the Indian Ocean.
• Established relationships with luxury hotels, DMCs, lifestyle partners, and premium service providers; an existing client book is a significant advantage.
• Outstanding communication skills; bilingual Arabic–English proficiency is strongly preferred.
• High level of organisation, problem-solving capability, and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous journeys in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written presentation skills and fluency in digital tools, CRM platforms, and itinerary builders.
• A polished, service-oriented mindset with the discretion required for working with high-profile individuals.
• Flexibility to travel for fam trips, site inspections, client hosting, or partner engagements as required.
